Miami Heat fans experienced a disappointing evening at the Kaseya Center as their team suffered a defeat against the No. 14-seeded Washington Wizards.

The game was tense until the very end, with Duncan Robinson and Jimmy Butler, two key players, having opportunities for game-winning shots. Unfortunately, both of their attempts from beyond the arc missed, resulting in a narrow 110-108 loss for the Heat.

Despite his errors in the fourth quarter, Kuzma performed well overall, contributing 32 points and nine rebounds, although his shooting efficiency was lacking. On the Wizards’ side, guards Tyus Jones and Corey Kispert combined for 34 points and 22 assists on 13 of 24 shooting.

While Jimmy Butler struggled from the three-point line, going 0 for 4, he managed to notch 23 points and four assists. Rozier continued to show improvement for his new team, recording 16 points, seven rebounds, and four assists, even though his playmaking statistics may not reflect his contribution accurately.

The absence of Tyler Herro’s offensive aggression, despite his inconsistent performances, was felt by the Heat. Herro’s season has been plagued by injuries once again, leaving the organization hoping for his return to full health in time for the playoffs.

The Heat’s next game will be against the reigning champions, the Denver Nuggets, on Wednesday.
