Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo to Reprise NCIS Roles in New ‘Action-Packed’ Spinoff: ‘This Is for You’

enthusiasts as Special Agents Ziva David and Anthony “Tony” DiNozzo, they are set to reprise their iconic roles from the crime procedural drama in a new spin-off series for Paramount+, as revealed by the streaming platform on Wednesday.

The forthcoming show, currently without a title, is slated to commence production later this year, comprising 10 episodes. This marks the first time in ten years that de Pablo, aged 44, and Weatherly, aged 55, will share the screen together.

Weatherly’s tenure with NCIS began with its debut in 2003 and concluded in 2016. He recently made a cameo appearance during a character’s funeral. De Pablo joined the series in its third season and remained until her character’s apparent demise in season 13.

The storyline picks up after Ziva’s “supposed death,” as indicated by the official synopsis. Following this event, Tony left the NCIS team to raise their daughter. However, upon Ziva’s surprising discovery alive, they reunite for a final mission with NCIS before settling in Paris with their daughter, Tali.

In the new Paramount+ original series, Tony and Ziva have been raising their daughter together. However, their peaceful life is disrupted when Tony’s security company is attacked, prompting them to flee across Europe. Amidst the chaos, they must confront their past and rebuild trust to secure their unconventional happily ever after.

Both actors will also serve as executive producers on the project alongside John McNamara.

In a joint statement, Weatherly and de Pablo expressed their long-held desire to bring this story to fruition, now made possible with McNamara’s assistance. They promised an exhilarating narrative filled with love, danger, tears, and laughter, acknowledging the unwavering support of fans worldwide who have championed the ‘TIVA’ movement over the years.
