The team’s owner was visibly upset after watching rookie quarterback Bryce Young throw a fourth quarter interception that virtually sealed the Panthers’ first shutout in 342 games or 21 years. During his tirade, Tepper threw a drink at Jacksonville fans in the stands from a suite.

Carolina lost Sunday’s game 26-0. It’s the first shutout the Panthers have suffered since Week 7 of 2002. The Panthers locked up the NFL’s worst record with the loss.

The person who shot the video said the Jaguars security staff asked for a copy of the video. Panthers officials have not publicly commented on the situation.

The NFL told WCNC Charlotte it is aware of the video and has not released any further comment or indicated any possible disciplinary action.

The Panthers are going through one of the worst seasons in team history with a 2-14 record. The team traded its pick in next year’s draft, which would have been the No. 1 pick, to select Bryce Young with the first pick in this year’s draft. Young has shown small bits of promise but has mostly been inadequate due to an inefficient offensive line and a lack of weapons.
